This is all time Classic textbook and a go-to book in Periodontics. The book has exhaustive and lucid coverage of periodontology topics with wealth of illustrations and diagrams which dental students need to know. Undergraduate segment is the Primary Market for this title. After the 11th ed when lot of content was put online the sales had dropped. The second SAE involved a thorough mapping of content vis-a-vis UG curriculum, at the same time retaining the flavor of original Carranza.
