It is a spinal brace that covers all dorsal, lumbar and sacral vertebras, supports and immobilizes the spine in a neutral position, while still permitting requisite body movement such as free shoulder movement with no obstruction of the thoracic or abdominal breathing. Made of skin-friendly material, the horizontal chest splint arrests the rotational movement of the torso and offers immobilization of the entire dorso lumbar region. The brace comes with adjustable shoulder straps that correct the shoulder posture and prevent loosening or migration. How to use Taylors Brace Short Long – Samson

• Mark the position of the vertical and horizontal splint on the bare body surface.
• Keep the lower horizontal splint just over the lower edge of the spine.
• Remove vertical splints first and then horizontal splints by pushing them out.
• Then bend/shape the brace to match exactly as per the anatomy of the wearer, at the positions marked on the body earlier.
• Insert these customized splints back into the brace.
• The central soft panel of the back support, in between two vertical aluminum splints should be placed exactly on the vertebral column.
• The lower edge of the brace should coincide with the nape of the spine.
• Fasten the hook tape to the loop tape on the elastic to achieve comfortable compression.
• The shoulder straps are thrown over the shoulders and are brought back through the axial.
• The straps are then pulled through the buckles to tighten & fastened with the loop tape provided vertically along with the elastic panel.
