Product Description

Tynor Ash brace is designed to immobilize the vertebral column and maintain it in neutral or slightly hyper extension position. It provides stabilization of the spine encourages cervical and lumbar lordosis thus relieving pressure on the anterior parts of the vertebral bodies. Designed to act on three point pressure principle by exerting pressure against sternum and pubis on ventral and the lumbar region on the dorsal.

Application

1. Pressure relief in osteoporetic bone collapse in the thoracic and lumbar spine.
2. Conservative management of vertebral bone tuberculosis.
3. To prevent deformity in ankylosing spondylitis.
4. Idiopathic hyperkyphosis of spine with chronic back pain or Scheuermann?s disease.
5. Conservative treatment of in-operable vertebral fractures in the lumbar and thoracic spine.
6. Diskites, inter vertebral disc prolapse or herniation.
7. Un-displaced stable fractures and compression fractures of the lower thoracic and upper lumbar vertebral column.
8. Temporary, postoperative spine immobilization & stabilization.

How to use

Extend the vertical pads to the required length Place the Ash Brace with the sternal pad in the center of the sternum and the pubic pad in the center of pubis area to a comfortable position. Bend the horizontal main body according to the girth of the patient at the abdomen. Keeping the back pad in the center of the LS region tighten the two Velcro straps equally from both sides for a firm fitting of the brace.
