Product Description
Tynor Leg traction brace is a traction halter applied to the leg for below knee traction. It offers a distinct advantage of a very large holding surface area, ease of application and removal , reuse and patient comfort
Application
Below knee tractions for the following conditions:
- Reduction of fracture of the upper leg
- Pelvic joint dislocations
- Pelvic bone fractures
- Stabilizes the knee, and reduces muscle spasm
- In knee injuries not involving fractures.
Instructions
- Use this product under strict guidance of a qualified doctor.
- Discontinue use and seek guidance of a qualified doctor, in case of
- Impaired sensation
- Impaired blood flow
- Allergy rash or itching
- Pain increases or persists
- Consult your doctor in case of concurrent use of the device with excessive physical exertion, it can lead to restriction of performance of heart and lungs (risk of rise in blood pressure).
- Misuse or improper use of the device can lead to adverse effects and decreased effectiveness.
- Follow instructions mentioned on the box carefully.

How to use:
“The area can be shaved and even mild adhesive system like tincture of benzoin can be used to enhance patient comfort and effectiveness of the traction brace. Leg traction brace is placed on the below knee portion of the leg. The Velcro straps are tightened to a comfortable, secure position by reverse buckle mechanism. The traction belts are hooked to pulley system through nylon rings. The traction weight is applied as per the instructions of a qualified doctor.
Recommendation:
- Foot and leg should be monitored for burning sensation, irritation and pain from time to time.
- Ensure that the force of traction is transmitted in entirety and there is no loss due to friction.
- Pressure on the peroneal nerve should be checked and reduced.
- The traction weight is applied as per the instructions of a qualified doctor.
Product Care
- It is recommended to close hook loop fasteners before washing.
- Hand wash with mild detergent and water below 30?C without wringing.
- Dry in shade on a flat surface,
