Product Description

Tynor Mallet Finger Splint is a very simple device, to maintain the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint in the dorsi flexion position or functional position. The immobilization of these phalanges is important in managing the fractures, or disfunctionality of the DIP joint.

Application

1. Curing the mallet finger deformity
2. Managing the extensor tendon injury
3. Minor fractures of the distal phalanges
4. Post fracture care in major fracture of the distal phalange
5. Post surgical care

Instructions

1. Use this product under strict guidance of a qualified doctor.
2. Discontinue use and seek guidance of a qualified doctor, in case of

How to use:

Bend the splint to achieve the required degree of dorsi flexion. Place the splint so that the DIP joint of the finger comes below the hook loop tape. Slowly tighten to achieve the required degree of dorsi flexion of the Dip joint.

Recommendation:

Can be cut or bent to suit the individual patient needs.

2. Wipe with a clean, Use moist, lint free fabric to clean.
