Product Description

Tynor Thumb spica splint is a convenient device designed to immobilize the thumb in the abduction (functionally neutral) position. Support the CMC joint and immobilize the MCP joint of the thumb without inhibiting hand movement.

Application

1. DeQuervain’s syndrome.
2. Ideal for arthritis, skier’s thumb and game-keeper’s thumb.
3. Helps reduce pain and inflammation associated with cumulative trauma injuries.
4. Fracture or suspected fracture of the scaphoid bone in the wrist and soft tissue injuries of the thumb and the wrist.
5. Treating thumb sprains and strains.
6. Post cast healing.
7. Prophylactic protection during certain sports and activities.

Instructions

How to use:

Aluminum strip is pushed out. The contours of the splint are matched to the contours of the thumb according to the degree of abduction required. The customized splint is pushed back into the pocket. The wrist band of the thumb spica splint is wrapped around the wrist The hook loop rejoinders are fastened to a comfortable compression with reverse buckle mechanism. The thumb portion of the product is aligned to the thumb and fastened with the help of hook loop rejoinders.

Product Care

1. It is recommended to close hook loop fasteners before washing.
2. Hand wash with mild detergent and water below 30?C without wringing.
3. Dry in shade on a flat surface,
