Product Description

Tynor tourniquet is a convenient vaso-constricting device used to restrict venous blood flow in the appendages for a short period of time. Made up of durable hook loop tape and buckle, to ensure sufficient constriction force using reverse pull mechanism.

Application

1. For drawing blood samples from veins.
2. For giving intravenous injections and infusions.
3. Other manipulations where venous puncture is required.

Instructions

1. Use this product only if trained in its use,
2. Never place directly over a joint.
3. Misuse or improper use of the device can lead to adverse effects and decreased effectiveness
4. Follow instructions mentioned on the box carefully
5. Keep out of reach of children

How to use:

1. For venipuncture or IV injection use, place the tourniquet 4-5 finger width above the site.
2. Never place directly over a joint.
3. Tighten the strap by a reverse buckle mechanism
4. Affix hook side to the loop side .

Recommendation:

1. There should be no bandage or clothing below tourniquet.
2. Constriction pressure should be kept to the minimum effective pressure. Constriction time should be kept to a minimum not exceeding the requirement of the procedure followed.
3. If external bleeding does not stop place a second tourniquet above the first.

Product Care

1. Dip in mild detergent and water below 30?C to wash.
2. Do not Iron.
