Diminishing of anxiety caused by needle fear during anesthesia. The shape of the alligator is compatible with extra-short needles. The conventional needles are not indicated because they are shown during the procedures.

There are 3 types of Carpule syringes. The difference between them is in the support that provides pressure to push the anesthetic. The Alligator Sleeve was developed for the Carpule in Fig. 1. The Carpule in Fig. 2 is not the most indicated, but it also works. The Carpule in Fig. 3 is the only one that does not fit with the Alligator.

Instruction & Storage
1. Prepare the cartridge syringe with anesthetic cartridge and needle by removing the needle guard. Insert the carpule syringe into the Jacarezinho avoiding touching the needle on the side walls.
IMPORTANT: Check that the anesthetic tube is completely visible in the lower opening of the alligator. 2. Prepare the bottle with an anesthetic tube and needle, removing the needle protector. Introduce the jeringa carpule in el guante avoiding touching the aguja on the side walls. 3. Prepare the syringe with cartridge and needle (removes needle rap). Insert the syringe in the sleeve, the needle should not touch the internal wall of the sleeve. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the cartridge is dearly visible at the lower opening of the sleeve.
4. Place your index and middle fingers on the alligator’s hind legs and your thumb on the syringe plunger. The needle must be, at this moment, inside Jacarezinho’s “mouth”;
5. Support the index and middle finger on the hind legs of the Jeringa Protector and the pulgar on the Jeringa Embolus. The aguja must be, at this moment, hidden inside the entrance of the jeringa protector
6. Position index and middle fingers on the rear feet of the Alligator Sleeve and place thu mb on the plunger. Atthis moment, the needle is hidden insidethemouth’ ofthe alligator.
7. Position the blanket set & in the region to be anesthetized. IMPORTANT: The lower part of the Jacarezinho must be facing upwards, allowing visualization of the anesthetic tube, verification of blood reflux and anesthetic volume to be injected. In this passage, the patient will only have a view of Jacarezinho’s back.
8. Position the set in the region to be anesthetized. IMPORTANT: The lower part of the jeringa protector must be positioned towards the top, allowing the visualization of the anesthetic tube, verification of blood flow and anesthetic vat umen to be injected, In this position, the patient will only have the vision of la upper part of the jeringa protector.
9. Place the mounted assembly into the area of ​​the mouth to receive anesthesia. IMPORTANT: The lower part of the Alligator Sleeve must be positioned upwards; this allows the cartridge to be seen by the dentist so that the flow of the anesthetic solution and any resulting bleeding can be checked. The patient will only be able to see the rear part of the sleeve.
10. Press the Jacarezinho’s hind legs with the index and middle fingers to expose the needle. Perform the puncture and injection of anesthetic fluid. At the end of the anesthesia, release the hind legs of the Jacarezin hp to hide the needle again and paddle away from the patient’s bosom.
